How to Adopt
Thank you for choosing to adopt your new family member from Santa Paula Animal Rescue Center. We have a knowledgeable staff available to help you make the right match.
ADOPTION FEES
Dogs $110
Cats $80
All adoptable pets will be spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, dogs will be micro chipped (cats upon request) and licensed for the city of Santa Paula. City license tags are only required for dogs residing in Santa Paula.
ADOPTION HOURS
Monday and Wednesday closed
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 11am-6pm
Q: HOW DO I ADOPT A COMPANION PET?
A: Locate the dog or cat that you think would best fits your life style and energy level by clicking here for our adoptable cats or adoptable dogs. Come on down to the rescue center to meet and learn more about the pet you are interested in. Next is bonding time. You can spend some special time together before you decide to adopt. Fill out an adoption application at the Rescue Center. Click here for the cat or dog adoption application.
Q: WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I FILL OUT THE ADOPTION APPLICATION?
A: After we look over your adoption application, we will talk with you about the cat or dog that you’ve chosen to add to your family. And, if all goes well you will be asked to sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee.
